With a second baby on the way the Radners have sold their house but with a 30 day get out clause in effect they need the girls next door to be quiet and not party for 30 days. This doesn't go down well and the girls have a secret weapon in the form of Teddy who returns to deliver a final blow to his old rivals. However as the girls become more out of control then he could ever imagine Teddy joins forces with the Radners to put an end to Kappa Nu with hilarious results
Now I never saw the original Bad Neighbours so i didn't really know what i was in for 100% going into this. I found it pretty funny, Mortez was great as Kappa Nu Leader Shelby and you get the reasons why the girls would want their own group away from the sexist Frat parties the boys throw but you feel so so sorry for Mac and Kelly, i mean Jesus! bloody tampon attack on their house! that is a little messed up. Efron is actually funny in this as the man child that is Teddy, his simple look at life is endearing and comedic and it is nice to see the three main characters make up for the events of the first film.
Bad Neighbours 2 does push the boundaries on what is 'okay' to joke about and there was a few jokes even I went 'hmmmm' about, however this is a Seth Rogan film so you get what you pay for.
other than this moments the film is very funny, it is much tamer than other teen comedies out there and the sexual themes in the film are pretty much telling people that you don't need to degrade yourself for the sexual needs of guys, girls can have the parties and the fun of college without this type of activity and think thats, in a way, a great moral in the story as a whole.
Bad Neighbours 2 was mildly well acted, with a funny story and a good set of characters. It is your usual Seth Rogan type of film so just look at his previous comedy library and you will get the point.
