You won't know this but i'm a HUGE foodie. I love the art of cooking and have always wanted to get into the business as an adult. So today I bring you a trailer for a very passionate drama of one Mexican born ladies desire to make it in the Male dominated world of Japanese Sushi. Check out the trailer below and let us know your thoughts.
Years of working in the food industry have made Juana’s hands fast, very fast. She can slice and dice anything you throw at her with great speed and precision. When single-mother Juana lands a position as a kitchen assistant at a local Japanese restaurant, she discovers a whole new world of cuisine and culture, far-removed from everything she has ever known. While working in the restaurant’s kitchen, Juana secretly observes the sushi chefs and eventually teaches herself to make a multitude of sushi. Eventually Juana attempts to become a sushi chef, but is unable to because she is the “wrong” race and gender. Against all odds, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, determined to not let anyone stop her from achieving her dream.
East Side Sushi, released on January 23rd 2017, is available to pre-order now through iTunes and the following platforms: Amazon, Google Play, Microsoft Xbox, Sky Store, Vubiquity.
